is a unique and dynamic department, committed to providing the very best in
service to Bloomsburg University students, staff and faculty as well as community
members. This Office exists to serve all members of the Bloomsburg University
community - resident students, town students, continuing adult students, commuter
students, faculty, staff and so forth.
If a student or student organization violates the Code of Conduct, the Office of
Student Standards, where possible, will institute sanctions and other requirements
designed to facilitate learning and growth. The intended result is one where
individuals and groups are able to make better, more informed, choices for the
future.
Although certain aspects of the Office of Student Standards are reactive, we also
strive to be proactive. Through educational materials, presenting programs, meeting
with individual students and meeting with student organizations, we work to
provide the relevant and requisite knowledge such that future choices and
decisions can be more informed.
