| AHD | Assistant Hall Director Someone who assists with residence hall supervision. |
| GHD | Graduate Hall Director Graduate student who assists with residence hall supervision. |
| AC | Area Coordinator |
| The Rec | Student Recreation Center |
| ResComp | Residential Computing The office that assists resident students with computer problems. |
| ResLife | Residence Life The office responsible for overall housing and food service operations. |
| CGA | Community Government Association Governing body that represents all students; CGA owns and operates the Student Rec Center and the University Store among other things. |
| DAWN | Drug Alcohol and Wellness Network Responsible for alcohol and drug education, counseling and assessments. |
| SOLVE | Students Organized to Learn thru Volunteerism & Employment Resources for local service and employment opportunities. |
