Completed in 1970, Columbia Hall is a nine-story structure that houses 408 students. There are two wings per floor. There is one Community Assistant per wing (two per floor). Additional rooms off the lobby include study rooms and the Learning Communities Office. The lobby area also contains the front desk and mailboxes for students.
In the Summer of 2009, Columbia underwent renovations which included a new entryway, all new room furniture, paint and study areas.
In the Summer of 2017, work began on Columbia Hall to add air conditioning to all rooms. One-half of the building will be completed in 2017 with the other half scheduled to be completed in 2018.
